IDEA-STEM
IDEA-STEM works with professionals in business and non-profit organizations, educators, policy makers, student support staff, and professionals in STEM. They host conferences, create virtual resources, consult, and provide online courses and training to support Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Enable Science
Funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry in the United Kingdom, The Enable Science Network supports disabled individuals to succeed in science. They work to increase visibility through outreach in schools, poster campaigns, and disabled scientist spotlights.

ND Connect is a lived-experience-based mentorship and community platform by-and-for neurodivergent adults. On ND Connect, you can find mentors, friends, and an authentic, supportive community that gets you and wants to help you thrive. ND Connect also partners with post-secondary institutions to democratize access to mentorship, improve campus belonging, and improve outcomes for neurodivergent students.

Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) is a province-wide organization that brings together businesses and Employment Service Providers to increase employment opportunities for job seekers who have a disability.

Canadian National Institute for the Blind
Through the Know Your Rights project, CNIB has developed plain language legal information and resources (fact sheets, videos, training, etc.) to empower people who are blind, partially sighted or Deafblind to better understand their rights, navigate provincial legal systems and self-advocate to challenge discrimination.

This article is titled “Ten simple rules to host an inclusive conference” and was written by Joo et al in 2022. It is a great tool for all conference organizers to consider how they can build inclusive spaces that support all attendees.
